Hey guys,
It is important to get involved here on campus to build your resume. I struggled with this at first when I first got to school. But, I ended up having a connection that got me a spot on the Men's Basketball team as a manager. I have been a part of the team since April and I have loved every second of it. It's a one of a kind experience and now we have our first game tonight and even though it is just an exhibition against UIndy I am still psyched to be a part of the team and experience my first game as part of the team tonight!

Hey guys,
Starting out in the Sport Ad program, I had no idea what this program would do for me and what opportunities it might bring. But just recently, a huge opportunity was brought before me. In the SPTA 290 Ticket Sales class we had an Alumni Connections Project where we were paired up with an alum based on what our interests were in the industry. I was paired with someone from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Getting connected with this guy ended up leading myself to getting a phone interview with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants for an internship this summer. So my advice for you is to get involved and make connections!

Hey guys,
For those of you who don't know me I am Graham Stoppenhagen and I am a Junior Sport Ad major with a marketing minor here at Ball State. All my life I have been surrounded by sports for as long as I can remember. As a kid who grows up loving sports, you always have that dream of becoming a professional athlete. But for some of us, we are not as lucky to have that opportunity but we still want to make sports a part of our lives and be involved in the industry. That is why choosing Sport Administration at Ball State was a no-brainer for me.
In the Sport Ad program, I have been able to learn so much about the sport industry so far through my three years here at Ball State, and my two years admitted into the program. Learning about all the aspects from Finance, Law, Communication, the list just goes on and on. Having classes like that are much more interesting to sit through than you general elective courses, so for those of you who are still trying to work your way through those don't worry there is light at the end of the tunnel!
